The members of the Department of Information Systems actively participate in activities of the SASO (Association for Attestation and Standardization of Software). The main goal of SASO is to create a forum for exchange of ideas and support for software standardization for clients and users of IT systems along with providers and units performing software research. The Association is planning to create a “Polish system of evaluation of software conformity”.

Since 30th March 2010 Poznan University of Economics is a member of research and development cluster „Mobile solutions for wellness”. Apart from Poznan University of Economics the cluster is formed by: Poznan University of Medical Sciences and Telekomunikacja Polska S.A (Polish Telecom). Cooperation is directed towards development of solutions in the area of wellness. First planned project is focused on the design and creation of eDiet portal, which will communicate with the interface of mobile phones to enable easier composition of healthy diets, coherent with a profile of a user.

STI International is a global network carrying out research, education, innovation and commercialization activities on semantic technologies facilitating their deployment within industry and society at large. PUE represented by DIS is a Full Member of STI collaborating with its partners.
