On 22-23 January 2020 Poznań University of economics and Business hosted the kick-off meeting of the SIMMO II project: System for Intelligent Maritime Monitoring II. On 12-13 February 2019 representatives of the Department of Economic Informatics: prof. Agata Filipowska, Monika Kaczmarek and Jakub Dzikowski participated in Insemtives project meeting, Folgaria, Italy, February 8-10. Insemtives is a 7FP collaborative project, coordinated by STI Innsbruck.
Jacek Małyszko participated in Kantara Initiative Meeting in Berlin, May 16-18. Kantara Initiative is a point of collaboration concernint shaping the future of Digital Identity, a topic closely related to Ego – Virtual Identity project.
The project “The use of web technologies in the industry” has ended last week. 15 students from both: the Faculty of Informatics and Electronic Economy, and the Faculty of Economics participated in the simulation of a real IT project in an international environment. Dr. Monika Kaczmarek and Szymon Łazaruk participated in Insemtives project meeting, that took place in London on 17th and 18th of February 2011. The meeting was dedicated to summarize Q7 Project progress and has been organized by Pepper’s Ghost Productions.
Department of Information Systems is going to run a development project, named Ego, which is aimed to deliver tools for building complex representation of Internet user needs. Project is financed by Ministry of Science and Higher Education. More information can be found on project page.
On October the 1st, 2010 the Department of Information Systems joined the Insemtives project. The project is founed by 7th Framework Programme.
