{"id":194,"date":"2020-11-28T18:56:38","date_gmt":"2020-11-28T18:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/?p=194"},"modified":"2020-12-06T19:04:55","modified_gmt":"2020-12-06T19:04:55","slug":"researchers-night-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/news\/researchers-night-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Researchers\u2019 Night 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Researchers\u2019 Night, which took place on November 27, 2020, <a href=\"\/en\/piotr-kaluzny\">Piotr Ka\u0142u\u017cny<\/a> conducted a workshop for fans of artificial intelligence, where he presented the possibilities of recognizing emotions by artificial neural networks.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As part of the workshop entitled &#8220;I SEE THE CUSTOMER SAD TODAY, MAYBE A CHOCOLATE? &#8211; IF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CAN RECOGNIZE EMOTIONS&#8221;, you could learn about the concept of Artificial Intelligence, how it differs from machine learning and artificial neural networks, how you can teach a computer to recognize emotions, for example, and what are the limitations of such applications. In addition, the challenges in these areas and the ready-made effects of certain models prepared by scientists were presented.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WEFigJtZ0ls\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Code used in the workshop is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/khashishin\/Noc-Naukowc-w-2020\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">GitHub<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Researchers\u2019 Night is an event taking place all over Europe. This year in Pozna\u0144, eight scientific institutions participated in it, including the University of Economics and Business.
