At the same time, the Office of Academic Advancement Board, supporting the proposal of the Doctoral Committee awarded the doctoral dissertation with distinction.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The public defense of the doctoral dissertation entitled &#8220;<strong>Behavior-based user authentication for financial services<\/strong>&#8221; took place on December 16, 2021. The work concerned the use of machine learning techniques to design a method of user authentication using behavioral biometrics that could be implemented in mobile applications of the financial sector. Thesis supervisor: <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/witold-abramowicz\/\">prof. dr hab. Witold Abramowicz<\/a>; auxiliary supervisor: <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/agata-filipowska\/\">dr hab. Agata Filipowska<\/a>; reviewers: dr hab. Andrzej Kobyli\u0144ski, prof.
