This meeting was an excellent opportunity to learn about the world of generative artificial intelligence. The classes consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the first part, students gained knowledge about the most effective techniques for designing and optimizing initial instructions for language models (so-called &#8220;prompt engineering&#8221;), such as GPT-3 or GPT-4. The goal of this process is to obtain the most accurate, relevant and useful answers from the model.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshops, students used the Azure AI Studio tool &#8211; a platform for creating applications using generative artificial intelligence algorithms, providing tools for exploring, building, testing and implementing projects. There was also a discussion of Large Language Models, which constitute the foundation for creating language assistants. Students discovered how changing various parameters affects the results generated by ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p>In the practical part, students experimented with different variants of models, such as GPT-4 or GPT-3.5 Turbo. They also learned how to efficiently use the so-called tokens when working with ChateGPT. It is worth mentioning that &#8220;GPT-3.5 Turbo&#8221; is an improved version of the GPT-3.5 model, designed to respond faster, although it may have limitations in understanding more complex queries and creating more advanced content. Then ChatGPT-4, which is a newer and more advanced version, is characterized by a greater ability to understand complex queries, generate more detailed and precise answers and a better ability to create high-level content. The main difference between these two models is their natural language processing capabilities and the complexity of the generated responses.<\/p>\n<p>The event took place on December 15, 2023.
