During the meeting, the next stages of cooperation in the field of fake news detection using artificial intelligence were discussed.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/mbzuai.ac.ae\/study\/faculty\/preslav-nakov\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Preslav Nakov<\/a> is the head of the Department of Natural Language Processing. His research interests include natural language processing, disinformation, propaganda, fact checking, detection of fake news and media bias, machine translation.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth recalling that the Department of Information Systems is implementing the <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/openfact\/\">OpenFact<\/a> project, the aim of which is to develop a tool for verifying the credibility of information sources on the Internet and detecting fake news using artificial intelligence methods.
