During the seminar, <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/ewelina-ksiezniak\/\">Ewelina Ksi\u0119\u017cniak<\/a> discussed topics related to stylometric methods for lie detection, encoding stylometric features using Transformer models, author profiling, and individuals\u2019 susceptibility to fake news.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the presentation, the results of previous research conducted by Ewelina Ksi\u0119\u017cniak were discussed, including findings from the study <a href=\"https:\/\/ceur-ws.org\/Vol-3740\/paper-252.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cTeam OpenFact at PAN 2024: Fine-tuning BERT models with stylometric enhancements\u201d<\/a> (authors: <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/ewelina-ksiezniak\/\">Ewelina Ksi\u0119\u017cniak<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/krzysztof-wecel\/\">Prof. Krzysztof W\u0119cel<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/marcin-sawinski\/\">Marcin Sawi\u0144ski<\/a>). Furthermore, it was demonstrated how her prior research has led to the development of a preliminary concept for her doctoral dissertation.<\/p>\n<p>The planned doctoral dissertation will focus on detecting so-called \u201cgreenwashing\u201d in ESG reports, taking into account the influence of the author&#8217;s \u201cstereotype\u201d on the assessment of information credibility. After the presentation, a discussion took place during which participants had the opportunity to exchange views on the topics raised during the talk.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar was held on February 14, 2025.
