The aim of the study was to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of various AI-based chatbots in performing tasks related to mental health. The authors of the publication: Dominika Smoczy\u0144ska and <a href=\"https:\/\/kie.ue.poznan.pl\/en\/agata-filipowska\/\">Prof. Agata Filipowska<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The growing scale of mental health challenges, combined with the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the emergence of large language models, inspired research into the potential role of AI chatbots in supporting mental health care. As part of the study, chatbots based on large language models were implemented in accordance with their developers\u2019 guidelines, with the possibility of extending them with additional functionalities. They were then evaluated using a carefully designed set of research questions.
