BIS conference

BIS is a renowned international conference on business information systems. BIS 2026 will be the 26th in a series of international conferences. From the very beginning it has been recognized by scientists and business practitioners as a forum for the exchange and dissemination of topical research in the development, implementation, application, and improvement of computer systems for business.

In recent years, artificial intelligence has evolved from a promising technological frontier into a central force shaping business strategy and innovation. Yet, as organizations have raced to adopt AI-driven tools and solutions, many have discovered that moving from experimentation to tangible results is far from straightforward. The 2026 theme “From Hype to Impact: Turning AI into Real Business Value” reflects this critical shift in focus.

BIS conference is on the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland and has 70 points (as of November 2025).
