Researchers’ Night 2020

As part of the Researchers’ Night, which took place on November 27, 2020, Piotr Kałużny conducted a workshop for fans of artificial intelligence, where he presented the possibilities of recognizing emotions by artificial neural networks.

As part of the workshop entitled “I SEE THE CUSTOMER SAD TODAY, MAYBE A CHOCOLATE? – IF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CAN RECOGNIZE EMOTIONS”, you could learn about the concept of Artificial Intelligence, how it differs from machine learning and artificial neural networks, how you can teach a computer to recognize emotions, for example, and what are the limitations of such applications. In addition, the challenges in these areas and the ready-made effects of certain models prepared by scientists were presented.

Code used in the workshop is available on the GitHub.

The Researchers’ Night is an event taking place all over Europe. This year in Poznań, eight scientific institutions participated in it, including the University of Economics and Business. More information about the event can be found on the website: poznan.nocnaukowcow.pl
