Dr. Elżbieta Lewańska and Dr. Milena Stróżyna from the Department of Information Systems represented the Poznań University of Economics and Business at the SAP Academic Community Conference EMEA 2025, held on 4–6 November 2025 in Athens, Greece. The event, organized by the SAP University Alliances, brought together academics from 37 countries from the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa).
The conference provided a platform for sharing teaching experiences, best practices, and innovations related to the use of the SAP ecosystem in education. Participants had the opportunity to explore the latest solutions and teaching materials offered by SAP UA, as well as best practices of how SAP systems are applied in university courses. As part of the conference, Train-the-Trainer workshops were held, offering both representatives of the Department an opportunity to further develop their competencies in teaching SAP Signavio and SAP Analytics Cloud.
The Poznań University of Economics and Business has been a member of the SAP University Alliances program for over ten years, providing students with access to state-of-the-art SAP solutions widely used in business practice. The software and teaching materials supplied under the program are used in several courses delivered by the Department of Information Systems. The Department’s representatives were among the 120 participants invited to attend the conference, which confirms the strong engagement of the Department of Information Systems in the European SAP academic community.
