BIS 2025 Conference: AI-driven Business Transformation

The twenty-fifth edition of the International Conference on Business Information Systems (BIS 2025) took place on June 25–27 at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. In light of the significance of artificial intelligence and digital transformation for business, as well as their rapid development, the conference theme was defined as “AI-driven business transformation: challenges and opportunities”.

Call for Papers: BIS 2025 Workshops

We invite you to submit research papers to workshops at the 25th International Conference on Business Information Systems (BIS 2025), which will be held on June 25–27, 2025 at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. The workshops will provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as to present innovative technological solutions among experts from both academia and industry.

Extension of the submission deadline for the BIS 2025 conference papers

The deadline for submitting papers for BIS 2025 (25th International Conference on Business Information Systems) has been extended to January 31. In reference to the importance of artificial intelligence and digital transformation for business and their rapid development, the conference theme has been defined as “AI-driven business transformation: challenges and opportunities”.

BSCT 2021 – the 4th Workshop on Blockchain and Smart Contract Technologies

The fourth edition of the scientific workshop BSCT (Blockchain and Smart Contract Technologies) was held on June 16, 2021. The event was held remotely as part of the international conference on Business Information Systems (BIS), and it was hosted by TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library in Hanover, Germany.

QOD 2021 – the 4th international workshop on Quality of Open Data

The fourth edition of the scientific workshop QOD (Quality of Open Data) was conducted on June 14, 2021 in conjunction with the BIS 2021 conference. The event was hosted by TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library in Hanover, Germany.

BSCT 2020 – the 3rd Workshop on Blockchain and Smart Contract Technologies

The aim of the workshop is to closely explore emerging challenges and opportunities in the field of blockchain technologies. Moreover, this time the audience attention was especially turned toward issues related to blockchain architectures, new business models as well as innovative applications, use-cases based on distributed ledger environments and standardization initiatives.

QOD 2020 – the 3rd international workshop on Quality of Open Data

The goal of the QOD workshop is to bring together different communities working on quality in Wikipedia, DBpedia, Wikidata, OpenStreetMap, Wikimapia and other open knowledge bases and data sources.
