The twenty-sixth edition of the International Conference on Business Information Systems (BIS 2026) was held on 10–12 June 2026 at the Prague University of Economics and Business. In response to the growing importance of AI and digital transformation in business, the theme of BIS 2026 was defined as: “From Hype to Impact: Turning AI into Real Business Value”.

Dr. Elżbieta Lewańska and Dr. Milena Stróżyna from the Department of Information Systems represented the Poznań University of Economics and Business at the SAP Academic Community Conference EMEA 2025, held on 4–6 November 2025 in Athens, Greece. Researchers’ Night 2025: Operation InfoVerification

During Researchers’ Night 2025, the staff of the Department of Information Systems conducted workshops titled “Operation InfoVerification” that were presented in the engaging form of a field game. The event introduced participants to the process of verifying information and identifying fake news.
