Extension of the submission deadline for the BIS 2025 conference papers

The deadline for submitting papers for BIS 2025 (25th International Conference on Business Information Systems) has been extended to January 31. In reference to the importance of artificial intelligence and digital transformation for business and their rapid development, the conference theme has been defined as “AI-driven business transformation: challenges and opportunities”.

During the 28th International Conference on Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Information & Engineering Systems (KES 2024), Dr. Włodzimierz Lewoniewski presented a paper entitled “Exploring the Challenges and Potential of Generative AI: Insights from an Empirical Study” and a paper entitled “Supporting fact-checking process with IT tools”. The conference was held on September 11-13, 2024 in hybrid mode.

During the Didactic Conference at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, employees of the Department of Information Systems presented research results on the possibilities and limitations of generating texts using tools based on generative artificial intelligence, analyzing both the advantages and potential threats. The research was conducted based on the analysis of texts generated by ChatGPT as part of student essays.

Speech at the KES 2023 conference

During the international conference KES 2023 (27th International Conference on Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Information & Engineering Systems), research results on the use of scientific information sources in multilingual Wikipedia on various topics were presented.
