A study authored by our researchers, dedicated to the analysis of research trends in the fields of blockchain technology and crypto-assets, has been published in open access on the Elsevier publishing platform. The study analyzes more than 50,000 scientific publications from the years 2015–2025, and its findings provide a unique, data-driven picture of how blockchain research has evolved over time.

Automatic Quality Assessment of Data Visualizations: A Case Study of Polish Wikipedia

The article “Quality Measures for Data Visualization: A Case Study of Polish Wikipedia”, authored by our researchers, has been published in open access. The work focuses on analyzing the quality of data visualizations in the Polish edition of Wikipedia. The study draws on an extensive dataset of over one million articles, from which visual elements such as tables, charts, diagrams, and maps were extracted and classified.

Dr. Elżbieta Lewańska and Dr. Milena Stróżyna from the Department of Information Systems represented the Poznań University of Economics and Business at the SAP Academic Community Conference EMEA 2025, held on 4–6 November 2025 in Athens, Greece. SRG Data Science: Organizational Meeting 2025/2026

On October 30th, the organizational meeting of the Student Research Group “Data Science” took place. During the meeting, the group’s directions of activity and the plan for the 2025/2026 academic year were discussed. This year’s workshops and lectures will focus on developing fundamental skills in data analysis and creating projects using Python and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript). Meetings with industry professionals are also planned.
